Kidd is a horse I owned when I was in high school. I only had him for a little over a year when I fell in love with Shelley - a young Trakehner mare that I just had to have. I sold Kidd to a wonderful woman who took the BEST care of him. I never had to worry if Kidd was in a good home. Karla took better care of him than I did. He still lived locally, so I got to see him every once in a while. I ran into Karla this week, and she told me he died on his birthday, in her arms.
My wish for everyone is that for every horse you sell, there is a Karla waiting to buy it. Of all the horses I have owned, he is only 1 of 2 that I know ended up in good homes.
Grace will NEVER be sold!
